Capt. Ryan utilizes a 24 foot Champion Bay Champ that is spacious, dry riding, and has seating for everybody. It is equipped with all necessary components to insure a comfortable day of fishing. The boat is powered by a dependable 250 horsepower Evinrude ETEC engine. The bow of the boat has a 101 lb. thrust trolling motor to provide a stealth approach when targeting fish in the marsh.
The electronics include GPS, depth sounder, marine radio with a distress button linked to the GPS coordinates, and a stereo. Capt. Ryan’s boat also has a power pole, which is a hydraulic anchoring system for silent positioning in up to 8 feet of water. This is a convenient and quiet anchoring system that works with the push of a button. The boat also has a bimini top that can be put up in a just a minute. This can provide protection from sun and rain when needed. It often comes in handy on the ride back to port when the sun is starting to beat down.
